The solar industry is on the rise worldwide, and things are no different in Belgium and the Netherlands. Solar projects are becoming increasingly numerous and large-scale in our region. The growth of the market is also increasing the number of players. At the 8th edition of InterSolution, the number-one networking and trade fair for solar energy in the Benelux, on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 January 2019
at Flanders Expo in Ghent (Belgium), solar professionals will receive a total overview of the rapidly evolving market. Access is free of charge on presentation of an invitation, which can simply be requested at www.intersolution.be.
The success of the 2018 edition proves that the solar market in Belgium is on the up-and-up again. In the summer of 2017, Flanders reached the milestone of 300,000 solar power systems. A total of around 150 megawatt-peaks of solar panels were installed last year. This will increase by a few dozen percent in 2018. The Paris Agreement and pledges within the European Union are also prompting the Belgian and Dutch authorities to stimulate solar energy on a large scale. Solar energy is, and will remain, the future.
For every solar professional
Just as with the previous seven editions since 2009 - with an average of 3,800 visitors each - InterSolution 2019 will be an international B2B forum for the solar industry where supply meets demand.
That is why a visit to InterSolution is useful for anyone involved with the solar business, such as electricians, solar installers, manufacturers, construction contractors, installers, design offices, roofers, plumbers, architects, distributors, heating technicians, public authorities and other solar professionals active in consultancy, renewable energy or swimming pools. In the last edition, no fewer than 16% of the visitors came from the Netherlands.
All innovations under one roof
Leading suppliers from all over Europe (including Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Austria, Italy and Israel) demonstrate their latest innovations in solar panels, energy storage, assembly systems, control techniques and software.
Solar boilers are also receiving increasing attention, in both the consumer and business markets. In Flanders, a solar boiler is currently installed in 12% of the new construction houses.
Monitoring is also here to stay in the modern solar energy sector, now that more and more manufacturers are no longer offering it as an option but adding it as standard to their converters.
The trade fair offers a current overview of: batteries, wiring techniques, fixation systems, control engineering, monitoring systems, assembly systems, converters, production equipment, PV modules, regulators, software, trackers, heat pumps, solar boilers, solar cells, solar collectors, solar panels…
InterSolution is following the growth of the market by having the next edition take place in a more spacious trade fair hall: Hall 8 instead of Hall 3 of Flanders Expo. This makes InterSolution 2019 2,000 square metres bigger than last year.
Trade fair organiser Delphine Martens of Delfico bvba says: “InterSolution underlines the positivity that exists among the solar energy companies regarding market development. Visitors to the fair go there to be consciously informed by the dozens of exhibitors. With InterSolution we want to actively contribute to the further development and innovation of the sector in the Benelux. Any player in the sector of solar power, solar heat, heat pumps and energy storage that takes itself seriously must not be absent from InterSolution.”
Free Master Classes
This year too, a series of free Master Classes will be offered by the participating exhibitors in the conference room of the trade fair hall. These info sessions are practice-oriented and provide an explanation of the latest developments and innovations in the market. As from December, you will find the Master Classes programme at www.intersolution.be.
